Design Contest

Dear SPIELers,

we would like to thank all of you once more. Our thank you goes to all designers who let their creativity run wild, to all those who expressed their voices and of course to all those who were just as excited as we were.

Now, we are happy to announce the winner of the first Community Design Contest.

Akinga Ga from Ukraine wins the competition with her design and receives 1.000€, two tickets for the SPIEL-PREVIEW-NIGHT and two 4-day tickets for SPIEL. Therefore, her design will decorate the official T-shirt of SPIEL ’19.

 

 

But that’s not all. Your opinions are so different that there must be a second and third place. The following designs will be distributed via an online shop, so you have the opportunity to visit SPIEL with your favorite T-shirt. Further information will be announced soon.

The 2nd place goes to design by Jan Schwalfenberg with a prize of 500€.

 

 

And because the important message behind the design by Daniel Müller must live on, he gets 400€ with the 3rd place.

 

 

Congratulations to all winners!

Of course, we watched the voting very closely and noticed that some participants did everything to get the most out of the algorithms. Friends were also mobilized for this.
Equal opportunities are important to us and because Akinga neither speaks German nor did anything to generate more reactions for her design and still got many votes and positive comments, she is the deserved winner from our point of view.

The Community Design Contest should not be a one-day wonder and we are looking forward to the next time!
